Who can get free prescriptions?
In England, you may be entitled if you’re under 16, aged 16–18 in full-time education, over 60, pregnant, have certain medical conditions, or receive specific benefits. We can help you check if you’re eligible. Prescriptions are free in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
How much do NHS prescriptions cost?
A prescription in England will cost £9.90 for each medicine or appliance dispensed. Prescriptions are free in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Can you deliver my medicines?

Do I need to make an appointment to see the pharmacist?

The pharmacy staff are really rude. Olins has been my pharmacy for over 20 years and they are always very rude. Last year my husband and I attended the pharmacy for our flu and covid injections as we had received confirmation from our doctors for both of us to have them due to my husband being vulnerable. The pharmacist lectured us on why I should not be allowed to have the injections and refused even though my doctor had invited me to book. He was so rude! I spoke to my GP and he advised not to go back to Olins and to go to another pharmacy which he recommended where I had a much better service and the pharmacist was also pleasant. I have been back into the pharmacy since and he is still the same rude, arrogant and most unpleasant man. I have informed my doctors to send my husband's prescriptions elsewhere from now on as I do not want to deal with him anymore.

Well what can I say about this great little chemist. Mr Patel is a lovely gentleman. And the staff are fantastic. There's one Saturday girl there with red hair and glasses that is so polite and friendly. Keep up the good work
